Buyer Kit
Give your manager a decision they can make.
Share the problem, what the team will build, and how you’ll know it helped. Use the worksheet with your own examples and numbers.
One-page business case
Can we work on this together?
- The problem. What keeps going wrong? Who is affected? Give one example and a number from your own records if you have it.
- What we want to change. Name the workflow, the owner, the AI step if it helps, and the checks it needs to pass.
- What the team will keep. Agree where the Company OS entry, rules, test cases, and instructions will live. Name who maintains them.
- How we’ll check it. Pick three to five measures that matter. Define them and record the starting values. Agree when to check again, such as at 30, 60, and 90 days.
- The decision. Approve the scope, fee, access, and time for the owner to build, test, and run a fresh case.
Example: “Finance asks sales for billing terms after the deal closes. We’ll count how often that happens and how long it takes to hand off a deal, then compare after the change.”
Manager FAQ
What should we agree before work starts?
- What can AI see or change?
- Agree the approved records, tools, and permissions. Name who can approve a consequential action and test how the workflow handles a missing or conflicting record.
- Who owns the result?
- The scope explains where the working files and configuration live, who can change them, and any third-party licenses or maintenance responsibilities.
- What happens when Ryan leaves?
- The internal owner runs a fresh case, handles an exception, and practices a small change. The instructions say who maintains the work and who can help.
- What do I need to do?
- Approve the scope and access, give the team time to participate, and review the same measures before and after. Decide together whether to expand.
- What will it cost?
- Discuss the first scope with USS. A proposal explains the fee, timing, checks, and any costs for other tools or support.
- What does the first paid step look like?
- If your team runs HubSpot, see what you’ll build together, what the team keeps, and what we agree before work begins.
